Avalon Garden Club

The AGC was founded in 1976 by Mrs. Paul Austin, Mrs. Benjamin Jones and Mrs. James Zook for the purpose of beautifying Avalon. After several bi-monthly meetings the members began planting in 1977 at the 30th Street corner of Ocean Drive. Their next project was the Inlet at 7th and Ocean Drive in 1978.

The Chamber is the voice of the business community and helps to provide tourism and business development through a number of marketing opportunities designed for your organization.

Avalon Performing Arts Council

Avalon Performing Arts Council (APAC) was founded in 1982. APACs mission is to enrich the lives of the citizens of the Borough of Avalon, Cape May County and the visitors to these areas by promoting cultural and artistic events geared to all ages.

The Avalon Lions Club is 130+ civic-minded men and women of Avalon and local communities bound together under Lions Clubs International "To Serve", and meet community needs.

Avalon Home ad Land Owners Association (AHLOA)

Avalon Home and Land Owners Association is a group of community-oriented property owners.  Our purpose is to promote and enhance the environmental, economic and social values of property ownership in the Borough of Avalon, NJ.

Avalon Free Public Libary

The Avalon Free Public Library is open to all. Library cards are available free to Avalon residents and property owners and to residents of Cape May County. Seasonal cards are available for Avalon visitors.

American Legion Post #331

American Legion Post 331 represents both Avalon and Stone Harbor, but also includes many members from outside the area. The Post occupies the old Tatham Life Saving Station, the oldest building in Stone Harbor, and is dedicated to the memory of PFC Stephen C. Ludlam, of Stone Harbor, New Jersey (1925-1945).

Sons of American Legion Post #331 Squadron

7 Mile Island remains in shut-down, stay-at-home and self distancing mode. The one activity for which we seek you immediate support is becoming a Patron for the 2020 American Legion Handbook to be published in May.
